CMO patches

Nine patches, one deal. Each has its own person, its own buyers and its own page, and the page for a patch is sent directly to whoever is being considered for it.

Not indexed, not in the sitemap, and nothing on this domain links here. This is the overview of all nine, which is the part that is not for candidates. The nine patch pages themselves are public, because they are the adverts.

Days 1 to 90
No salary. 30% of the revenue from every new customer, from their first invoice.
Whose customers
The 30% is on new customers from that person's patch. Every patch has its own person.
Day 90
The numbers are reviewed together. If they are there it becomes salary and equity, and the 30% rolls into that.
If it ends
The 30% on every customer they brought in keeps paying for six months.
Their time
Everyone has other income and puts in their own time. Full-time when the pace justifies it.
Budget
Tools only. Marketing spend comes out of revenue.
Location
Remote, on the patch's own hours.

1The nine

Each patch is a segment, a vocabulary and a time zone.

The deal is identical across all nine. What changes is who is being sold to, the words they use for the work, and the hours the person keeps.

Patch pages live at signalsapi.com/careers/ followed by the patch slug. They are not listed here as links on purpose, so that reaching this page does not open the other eight.

2What every patch page claims

The same proof, stated once here so all nine can be checked against it.

2023
Selling since
20

23%

1M+

Seven regions are tracked, and each patch page names which of them covers it.

Two patches have no customer in their segment yet, and both say so on their own page rather than here: US IT bench sales and BPO and virtual staffing. Every other patch sells into a segment that already has paying customers.

Three patches sell back into the original market. Most of the first ten retainer clients were software development outsourcing companies, which is where SignalsAPI started: CEE, India and LatAm all carry that note.

3The job, on every patch

Conversion is not the problem. Reach is.

Cold outreach, free demos, free setup with billing that starts once results show: all of it converts. What is missing is a repeatable, scalable way to bring new customers in.

The number watched on every patch is firms in that patch's profile who book a demo or claim their free signals. The 90-day target is set with the person in week one.

Applications arrive at [email protected] with the patch in the subject line, which is what keeps nine patches separable in one inbox.

Nothing links to this page, it is not indexed, and it is not in the sitemap. The password on it is a doormat rather than a lock: it keeps a wandering reader out, and anyone who opens the page source can read what is behind it. Nothing confidential belongs here.
