Chief Marketing Officer
Get recruitment and software outsourcing owners to a first demo. The product closes from there. You keep 30% of every customer you bring in, and earn a founder's seat at day ninety.
What we built
SignalsAPI watches job postings across seven regions every 15 minutes. When a company that a recruiter or outsourcing firm wants as a client opens a role they could fill, they get it within hours, with the hiring manager and a verified email attached, and pitch while the role is still fresh. It sees advertised demand only, so desks fed by phone or an MSP are not the target. See it at signalsapi.com.
It already sells
- 2023
- Selling since
- 20
- Paying customers
- 23%
- Of first demos become customers
- €79+
- A month per SaaS customer, up to €399 and custom above
Ten on retainer plus success fees, mostly software outsourcing companies, which is where SignalsAPI started. Ten more since it became SaaS, mostly recruitment agencies. The CRM and outbound integrations are built. Competitors are small and single-country; we already run in all seven regions. Bootstrapped, no outside money, not raising.
What is missing is you
Conversion works: cold outreach, free demos, ten free signals, free setup. What we lack is reach, a repeatable way to get owners and founders to that first demo. There is no marketing team to inherit. You build the machine.
The deal
- Paid from invoice one
- 30% of every invoice paid by every new customer you bring in. No fixed pay for the first ninety days.
- Agreed in writing
- The terms are agreed in writing before you start, and the 90-day target is set with you in week one.
- Day 90
- Hit the target and you join as a founder: equity and a monthly retainer that absorbs the 30%.
- If we part ways
- Your 30% on every customer you brought in keeps paying for six months. Nothing else is owed either way.
- Same terms as us
- Everyone here has other income and puts in their own time. We all go full-time when the pace justifies it.
- Budget
- Tools only. Marketing spend comes out of revenue, so the first ninety days run on channels that cost time.
Your markets, your angle
Recruitment agencies in the UK and Ireland, the US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and DACH. IT bench sales firms in the US. Software outsourcing companies in Central and Eastern Europe and in Spain and Portugal.
Own one or several, whichever your angle reaches: a network of owners who already take your call, experience selling in or to the segment, the ambition to build it from scratch, or any mix. Contractor, from anywhere. DACH, CEE and Iberia need the local language.
If SourceBreaker, ASA, BDU, DOU or Clutch mean something to you, you are who we are looking for. We will not tell you where these buyers’ attention is. You should already know, or know how to find out fast.
What disqualifies you is needing fixed pay from us in the first ninety days.
Apply
A few lines, no CV. Which markets, your angle in each, and one answer: how would you get the attention of the owners there who have a reason to care, and how far does that scale in ninety days?
